I assume you are synchronizing the folder inbetween?

You could try to enable debugging. But be aware that the pop3-support in
TkRat is half-hearted at best. It does not detect new messages etc. The
reason for this is that this is the level of pop3-support in the
c-client libraries which TkRat uses.
