"group move" is very slow

Following up on my own post...

Is there any chance this is due to some sort of incompatibility between
TkRat and the Courier IMAP server?

I know there are some issues here.  For example, TkRat doesn't import
the folder hierarchy correctly.  (This is apparently a known issue with
Courier and various mail readers -- see
http://www.inter7.com/courierimap/FAQ.html#namespace .)  Anyway, the
folder import thing doesn't particularly bother me, since I don't use
it.  But I'm wondering if there might be other incompatibility issues,
if TkRat (or the IMAP library it uses) has only been tested with the UW
IMAP server.
