send and save to folder..

Are there plans, or has anyone patched in the ability to make the Send button
on composing into a send & save (to configurable folder) all the time?  

I know there's a send button, and a send & save chooser.. but I always forget
to use the chooser and just want everything saved to my Sent folder.  Would
love to have the option to just set a folder as "save outgoing" in folder
setup.  I could swear tkrat had that back in the 1.2 days, but my memory may
be foggy.
